Live feed installation
A Briton is in average 300 times a day captured by a video camera, mostly without even recognizing it.
Entering a room the spectators see a camera that is filming them and replaying the image on a monitor. Suddenly somebody starts writing over this live image, informing the spectator about them being recorded and asking them if they would like the footage to be erased.
In this work the spectators are confronted with themselves being filmed by an unknown entity that doesn’t respect their wishes. Questions are asked about why being (unknowingly) filmed is a problem and what the power is behind a captured image.
